Who lives here
A home for adults 55 and older
Every resident at Avelia is 55 or older. Some live with a developmental disability. Some are rebuilding a steady life after substance use. Many are working on both. Whatever brings someone to our door, the support looks the same: a calm house, staff who know them well, and a plan written around the person.
Behavior support
Hard moments get a plan before they happen. Each resident has a written behavior plan that names what sets them off, what helps, and how staff respond, the same way, every time, on every shift.
Substance use recovery support
For residents in recovery, Avelia is a household that protects sobriety. We drive to meetings and appointments, coordinate with treatment providers, and keep the days structured and full.

Staff are in the house 24 hours a day. Breakfast at seven, medication on schedule, and a person to sit with at 3 a.m. when sleep won't come.
